You know every once in awhile life throws us a hurdle or two, seems like we are jumping and wondering why. I don’t know why and sometimes it is beyond our reasoning. Sometimes it is enough to just know who is in control without even having all the answers. Other time we feel like we just have to understand. We are really going through some changes lately. Nothing bad just changes. Ministry schedules changing, doors that have been open for a long time seem to be closing, and life seasons changing. Our youngest is about to be 7. Wow. Hasn’t been a baby in the house in awhile. No thoughts of baby food or teething toys or even knowing what is in store brand formula these days, but I did hear it is a pretty good price at Wal-Mart. Of course we have a dear grandbaby but she doesn’t live here. I was sharing with my daughter the other day about buying teething biscuits and I had to think if they still even made such things. You don’t keep up when you aren’t the one shopping for stuff.
My next oldest daughter asked the question this morning, "can you name one good thing about winter?" Well my first thought was that it is a growing time. I have always said winter is for gestating. Gestating thoughts, gestating new purposes and seasons. So, what new thing is growing in your life?
