making hay while the sun shines

It is Tackle It Tuesday at 5minutesformom.com and our tackle this week is hay! Because hay is for horses, and sometimes for cows, :)

First it is cut, then raked then baled then we load it all on big wagons and bring it to the barn where it is stacked.

  • What a great picture and tackle!

My Dad is busy with this as well. If we counted the number of combines, tractors with balers, rakes or haybines going past our house we could sit there all day.

Luckily we are receiving nice warm windy weather to get the crops off.

We have been blessed today in Scotland UK with nice warm dry weather after weeks of rain and flooding and the combine harvesters are still outside working at 9pm!!The fields are white unto harvest!
