Luke 10:21 (New International Version)
At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.
To anyone else the flowers above would be called weeds. They are tiny and sometimes hard to see, and often stepped on. But my daughter Moriah can find them anytime, even in winter, she will pick them and put them in a tiny jar vase and they become a beautiful boquet. She is a child. How often do we treat God’s Word and His Spirit like these tiny wildflowers? Do we trample it with our feet? Do we take it for granted? Do we sometimes give in to the views of the world and act as if it doen’t matter? I encourage you to look into God’s Kingdom like a child looks at a field of wildflowers. With awe and wonder, like the miracle that it is. Jesus wasn’t forced upon the cross, He went willingly.
