What works for me this Wednesday? Two things, and I was reminded of both while chatting on twitter this morning, if you aren’t part of twitter, you should try it, a wonderful source of info, and a lot of fun! Join up and follow me! So I guess that just made 3 things that are working for me today. Here are the other two.
- Rain on a tin roof. I love the sound of rain on a tin roof. If you don’t have a tin roof on your house, consider a gazebo or covered porch or even a play house with tin on it! God has incredible rhythm and the sound of rain on tin is amazing.
- And how about a fresh idea for your waffles? Try creamed chicken! Friends of ours say it is a Dutch Pennsylvania dish. Well I don;t know about that but it is great! cook some chicken and dice it and add to some homemade chicken gravy and serve it over waffles, it is great!

for my wordless wednesday pic, I actually have two, and I chose these because there was no words for either, no explanation, well at the time, I will give you the explanation for the one afterwards, but often, oh so often, especially in a big family, you just cant figure out WHY?
Why did he close his eyes when I took a picture of him?
And why are these mud boots in the middle of the driveway looking like the wearer just got raptured? And who was wearing them anyway?
This answer came later, because, “Mom, you can’t run in mud boots!”
