family birthdays

Friday we have another birthday celebration coming up. I love when our whole family gets together. Up until a year ago or s we were all always together. But you know they grow up, even if they did promise to stay 3 forever.  :)    They grow up and get married, or get a full time job, and working around everyone’s schedule gets a little tough. But this will work Friday. Unless my daughter happens to be in labor, and if so then she and her first child would be sharing a birthday and that would be very sweet. So either way, we will be having another family birthday celebration and that works for me this week!  Can you guess what she wants for supper?

wonderfully made

Well here it is, the quilt I have made for my soon to be born grandchild.  Complete with ponies and flowers. There were still some pins in it when we took the picture. I love making baby quilts because it reminds of the work the Lord does in the womb. Putting everything together just how he chooses to create. A smile like it’s mother, a look like it’s father. He creates each and every one individul.  No accidents. He has a purpose in all that He does.

For you created my inmost being;
       you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
       your works are wonderful,
       I know that full well.

Psalm 139:13-14
