We finally got a treadmill a couple weeks ago. Found a barely used one for next to nothing and it is the same one I would have picked if I had the money for a new one at Sears so I consider it quite the blessing. I have been really enjoying it especially with the weather so cold. I came across this article today that really makes sense so I thought I would share it with you. It is written about physical exercise but could just as easily apply to our spiritual walk. So many folks sprint with Jesus running way ahead of Him, then getting too worn out and lagging way behind Him. The key is to walk WITH Him.

Penny, I love your photo at the top of your blog. Too cute!!!!
I agree about this, too. I have been blogging a lot lately about my weight loss journey, as I am making progress again, even with the drugs they gave me for my shoulder injury, and I decided that others out there probably have the same struggles too…but too much of the “advice” out there is not realistic or practical, especially for young mommas or busy mommas, or anyone who has more than 40 pounds to lose….you got to pace yourself because yo yo dieting is worse than not losing the weight at all. Dieting and exercising all crazy for a few months is not a sustainable way of life, and will only be painful rather than enjoyable. How often do you hear the sound advice this guy shared about pacing yourself to get those endorphins working for you? Thanks for sharing it!

I just realized the picture is always different. LOL I meant the one that is “I love Mommy” written in the snow. I thought it was really cute.
Hey, I’ve been changing directions in my blogging lately. What do you think? I added a video to my blog yesterday about using podcasts for learning, and I wasn’t sure what others thought of it. Being a hands on sort of gal too, do you think that sort of thing is helpful to mommas, especially those who are not so tech saavy? Just wondering.
