I recently had a discussion with a family member who had only heard one side of the story. They were shocked when I told them that Obama among others would not even consider trying to save the life of an aborted baby that was actually born alive. They were shocked at the thought of a live baby being walked away from. And by the way what is the difference between leaving it on a table to die and putting it in a trashcan? I really would like an answer to that. Anyway I proceeded to enlighten our guests on all kinds of interesting news. All they knew to do was quote the mainstream media word for word. When did we become a brainwashed communist country? Can Americans not think for themselves anymore? The thought that the media had lied never ever crossed their minds.

We will be judged by our hearts and our actions. When we approach Jesus on judgement day there will be no excuses. We cannot blame CNN for lying to us. So we had better search out the facts ourselves. We had better know what it is we are willing to die for. Because it is about life and death.

So since I read this week that the best ever source for news is now the blogging community, I will share with you a few different options. I wouldn’t begin to tell someone else what to believe. It is important for each and every one of us to search out the truth and come to our own conclusions. Most Americans put more research into buying a new refrigerator than they do the future of our children’s lives. And where we spend eternity. And uh, prayer is a good idea too

and there are plenty more, have you even looked? Do you know what we are about to do as a country? It isn’t about skin color. It isn’t about nationality, although I think those issues are being misrepresented. It isn’t about church or religion. It is about life and death.
