This is Diamond, he is a living description of this scripture,

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. … 1John 3:16

You see Diamond is a stallion, and sometimes his owner (my daughter) takes him away from his herd and puts him in the barn, for extra feed or care. but he won’t cooperate. He does not care for his own life. He will give up anything for his herd. He has instincts to care for the ones entrusted to him. He is completely selfless. I have witnessed him risk his life for his herd. He will do ANYTHING to protect them. Interesting how a horse who only has an intictive relationship with the Lord has such an understanding of His Kingdom. Yet we who have His Spirit living within us are so opposite, we want to think of ourselves first and others second.  God has truly given us a picture of His Kingdom in His creation.
