Why is it that the seasons come upon us all of a sudden? And even though they are at the sime time every year, it seems we are never ready? I mean just yesterday (actually last week) we were in the thick of summer and now the leaves are starting to fall. And the days are getting shorter. This is one of my favorite pictures from our farm. It is actually part of my view. I love barns, I don’t know why, but I love barns, probably because they represent the harvest.
Barns represent storehouses both in the physical sense and in the spiritual sense.
Everybody has something stored up in their barn.
Matthew 13:30
Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’ “
So, what is in your barn? Weeds, representing bitternes and unforgiveness and unhealed hurts? Or wheat, representing love, joy and peace? Or is it just cobwebs of past memories? I will give you a helpful hint, Jesus can not only clean your barn but He can fill it with good things. He is the Lord of the Harvest.
How’s that for wordless and Word-Filled?

And my question is, “And WHEN will He do it?” (if only you could know the context in which I speak)
