I don’t blog for money

I blog because I have words in my head, boy didn’t that sound scary :) . But really you know how they say that great composers like Beethoven had music in their head? Well I have writings in my head, like a preacher has his next message in his head, I constantly have my next article or chapter or entire book in my head. And if I don’t let it out by writing it I lose it. I cannot tell you how many times I have prayed “Lord that is soo good but can you give it to me later when i have time to organize my thoughts?” and POOF! it will be gone. I have learned to seize the moment. I am not one who sits down and has to think about what to write, I am one who has trouble writing it down as fast as it comes. Thus the typos, my fingers rarely keep up with my brain. So I say all that to say I don’t blog for money, I blog as an outlet. I love writing, I don’t know how good I am at it, but I love it.  But i am not opposed to making a little income if it coincides with what I am writing. big companies will gladly give us bloggers a piece of their advertising budget to get their names mentioned on our blogs. One of my favorites is PayPerPost. If you like to blog you need to check them out. You only write about what moves you.

daydreaming travel thoughts

Ok, at 10 am it was 90 degrees and 72% humidity, but there is a slight breeze, from the ceiling fan. :) This will be a definite day for blackberries and ice cream. But also a good day for daydreaming of other places. Where do you think my header picure on my front page is from? I got it from somehere, I didn’t take it myself, so I can’t realy tell you for sure. nearly all of my pictures I took myself but not this one. It is relaxing to look at though, looks to me like the coast along Northern California. when we lived in CA we would sometimes go to visiy hubby’s parents who lived near San Fransisco. San Fransisco is a really pretty and very unique place. It is cool, as in temp. Nice and breezy. And there are lots of things to do in San Francisco . We loved the beaches around Half Moon Bay, and the shopping in China town. And ohh the Fishermans warf,  I LOVE seafood. There is no such thing as real saefood here in coastless TN. We have catfish but that doesn’t quite count. Oh well I need to get back to work. If you want to daydream about other COOL places check out these online travel guides  Trusted Tours & Attractions and even sign up for their newsletter,   and listen to some music while your daydreaming traveling. Hmmm, where should I daydream about next, maybe Boston Museum of Fine Arts is Boston cool? Are there things to do in Boston?

my Tuesday tackle list mostly web work

Well, I can see that y’all are lovin my give away week, yesterday’s give away seems to be quite popular. Folks always love when I give stuff from jumpinbloomers.com. Maybe if I twist her arm April will give me another apron to give away for Friday. Anyway my tackle list today includes lots of web work. Since I have trained my daughters so well in the day to day running of this household I can effectively work from home as needed, and lately it is needed. Most of what I am doing today however is not income producing,  but aww well, faith is the substance of things hoped for and yet not seen, so I just keep putting one foot (or keystroke) ahead of another. I do need to plan another of my quarterly big blast sales though, those seem to help. And boy do y’allget blessed! If you want to be reminded of it, subscribe in the feedburner box at the top left just under my picture. Ok, here is my tackle list:

  1. the first thing is to design the graphics for my new Bless Me Blogs, starting with my Bless-my-Budget, if you like to watch creativity i action check it out several times today, I like to create live so you might even get to see a blunder or two, hopefully not  :)   tell me which one you want me to work on after Bless-my-Budget ?
  2. I also need to post today’s giveaway,  ohh it is good!
  3. I also need to set up our new schoolyear SOS schedule
  4. I als need to do some webwork on our ministry sites www.awesomeglory.com and www.theWellTN.com and add some of the live worship downloads, and make my newsletter there blog style,

Ok I guess that is a big enough list for today, if it gets as hot as yesterday I might through some daydreaming in there about somewhere COOL! Cool as in temperature. It was HOT here yesterday.

bless y’all, Penny
