While you are pondering on that one, hurry on over to my Bless the Bride FireSale before it ends. If you can pass up free chocolate recipes you are stronger than most.
Well, in the midst of all this wedding planning and creating, yes we are creating lots of things, well in the midst of it all we sure are seeing a lot of pearls. Have you ever considered the pearl? It is amazing, but then of course the oyster is created by God and He is amazing. Have you ever thought of how a pearl is created? From what I understand a piece of sand or some other foreign substance, gets inside the oyster and since it is irritating the oyster builds up a substance to coat it and make it smooth. So, let’s get this straight, it takes an irritant and makes something beautiful out of it? Sounds like what God does with us. Makes something beautiful out of our messed up life. Back to the oysters, wouldn’t it be great if they could make diamonds? Or gold? Or how about if they made other things? Anyway, not only is the beautiful pearl useful, the inside of the shell is coated with the same substance. Like I said Gulf oysters are amazing! Proof there is a God! Things like that don’t come by accident, just like you and me.
